Getting your puppy!
Due to Covid there are new rules and regulations. We have a couple options for getting your puppy.
Currently, due to Covid, we are not allowing outside people to come in our home.
Depending on weather, we may do outside pick up at our house, but no entering of our home.
Below are options, but they are in random order.
Option 1. Delivery via car.
(Cost varies based on distance) Not all the time this is available.
We are the ones that get to choose if this option will work for us.
The place, location and time is our choice
We will deliver a puppy/dog up to 2 hours from ours which has to be agreeable.

This service is available at the cost of $35.00 per hour and is figured on a round trip basis, for example, if we live 2 hours away and it takes us 2 hours to get back home, the charge will be $140.00 and is due and payable when you receive your puppy.
We try to meet in public places and near a highway.
This fee is to cover travel expenses, these fees are in addition to the puppy purchase price.
You will need to breed your own crate if need be, we do not provide one for travel.
*We do not meet no more than 2 hours away, please don’t ask!*
We have puppies at home, littermates to your puppy and they need fed/watered, care and attention as well as our dogs being able to go the bathroom too.
Option 2. Meet at the local airport
If you would like to get your puppy I can meet you at the airport, either Sioux City, Iowa or Sioux Falls, SD the cost is $100.00 which is payable in cash when you receive your puppy.
Meeting in Omaha, Ne is possible for $150.00 but is the very last resort.
This fee is to cover travel expenses. This is addition to the puppy purchase price.
This means that the buyer flies into the above airports at their own expense, and will fly home with your new puppy in cabin with you.
Many people use their sky miles if they travel a lot and think this part is great.
I would meet you at one of the chosen airports and then you would fly back with your puppy.
You would be responsible for any and all travel fees including but not limited to airfare and lodging if need be.
Sioux Falls, SD has an hotel called AeroStay that is connect to the North side of the airport 605-335-1800
(I have no affiliation with the hotel nor have I stayed there, use your own judgement)
The airline may charge you a fee to bring your puppy on board which you will be responsible for.
You will be responsible for booking the fights and puppy transportation, with an agreeable time and date for delivery.
You will need to bring a soft sided crate for you puppy to travel in, the airports do not sell crates for you to purchase.
I also do not provide crates for travel.
As of this post, American Airlines ($125) allows puppies as young as 8 weeks of age to travel in cabin.
United Airlines ($125), Delta Airlines ($125) and Southwest Airlines ($95),the puppies have to be at least 10 weeks to travel.
Jet Blue ($125) and Frontier ($99) I have not learned age restrictions.
These prices can and will change without notice.
Please make sure to contact the airline which you plan on using prior to booking the flight to make sure age restrictions have not changed without notice as we will not be responsible for age restrictions.
You also have the option of flying in and then driving to our house to pick up your puppy.
Option 3. Ground Transportation-
There are many companies throughout the United States that offer Ground Transportation.
Due to Covid, this is an option that I once didn’t agree with. You would be responsible to find a company to pick up your puppy and bring it to your home, including all communication with that company. You would be responsible for all charges associated with this transaction.
We have the right to turn away any Third Party shipper for any reason without recourse.
Option 4. Flight Nanny’s-
There are flight nanny’s that will meet breeders at airports and transport puppies.
You would be responsible to find such person/company that does this. You would be responsible for all charges.
In addition, a delivery fee of $100 for transportation for us to deliver the puppy to the airport to cover travel expenses.
This is addition to the puppy purchase price.
***The closest airport is Sioux City, Iowa or Sioux Falls, SD***
If you would like to fly in to get your puppy that is possible, we can deliver to Sioux City, Iowa and Sioux Falls, SD
We must agree prior to the deposit and noted on which airport you will be flying into.
Option 5. Picking up at our home.
I do not like this option, but I do allow it as it can put the
safety of our dogs, children and ourselves at risk.
Breeders have had dogs/puppies stolen, breeders have been shot, personal belongings stolen, medicine taken and health risks to the dogs/puppies at our home because of disease being brought onto the property like Parvo which is not visible.
If you are picking up at our home, pick up day usually consists of about 15-20 minutes max as we try to have others come on the same day and near the same time.

All those picking up at our home should add 7% sales tax. (We pay income tax on the purchase price)

There is a WalMart, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, McDonalds near the Holiday Inn

Information
All puppies come with Health Certificates free of charge unless you are picking up in person where it is not needed.
All puppies and dogs over the age of 10 weeks will be required to be vaccinated for rabies.
This is not an option. This required by the State and Vet.
The cost is $45.00 the buyer will be responsible for this cost plus the purchase price.
Take the rabies certificate to your local lic. authorities where you live and they should give you a new rabies tag for your pet.
Pick Up Day!
If you meeting us via delivery or meeting us at the airport
Here is what to expect. Pick-up is no more than 5-10 minutes max.
I will have a folder which will included but not limited to AKC papers (if promised), Microchip information, Health Certificate (if promised) and our contract, plus possible other information.
Exchange of funds for delivery or purchase price if not already paid. You will have a contract to sign, and then you may ask any questions you have otherwise we will go over a few things and take your picture with your new puppy and then you are off to go.
If you are picking up at our home, pick up day usually consist of about 15-20 minutes max.

Health Certificate (if promised) and our contract, plus possible other information.
Exchange of funds for purchase price if not already paid, if you are not paying in cash then you must already pay in advance as our internet and phone reception here in rural Iowa is not the best.
You will have a contract to sign, and then you may ask any questions you have otherwise we will go over a few things and take your picture with your new puppy and then you are off to go.
We DO NOT do kennel/home tours due to disease control and the safety of our mommies and babies.
Please understand the important of our dogs is TOP priority. We understand the fear of puppy mills, I can assure you our dogs are happy and healthy.
You are also on camera from the time you pull in the driveway as it is for our safety and yours!
If a third party person, ground transporter or flight nanny is meeting with us.
A folder will be going with this person, information is the same as above.
By them meeting with us you are agreeing to our Purchase Agreement without signature but by authorizing them to pick up your puppy!
Things to remember:
*Funds need to be paid either at pick up or prior make sure it’s an agreeable payment method.
Do not rely on internet or cell service when you get here to send funds as we live in the country and service is spotty.
* Puppy food- we feed Authority Grain Free- All Life Stages
please make sure you have already bought a bag and bring some with you.
* Water- Please bring water from your home with you. Change in drinking water, especially when traveling can cause temporary diarrhea. We only want to change water from our water to your water once.
*Food/Water container
*Cleaning supplies, paper towels, garbage bags, spray, deodorizer, towels, possible change of clothes, blanket for puppy to be wrapped in or lay on, puppy toys, leash and collar ask for size prior to leaving, wire crate.
*If traveling in a car, please know that you will need to cover the crate with towel/blanket incase you have the A/C on so the puppy does not get cold while the sun is making you hot.
*Keep your puppy away from people until fully vaccinated, that means “NO TOUCHING” from others.
*Keep away from public areas, park away from people when stopping, do not go to the pet areas when stopping.
* Plan pit stops every 2 to 4 hours. Puppies do tend to do a lot of sleeping about 12-15 per day but they still need out, they still need to eat/drink or they will get sick and dehydrated.

If you would like to fly in to get your puppy.
We are not responsible for any extra charges if flight price goes up or down if you are coming to pick up your puppy by flying in and taking him/her with you.
It absolutely will not affect the purchase price of the said puppy.
If for any reason a health certificate has been done and you cancel your plans to pick up your puppy at an agreed time and place and a 2nd health certificate is needed the cost of the 2nd health certificate will be at the buyers’ cost.
